Gujarat is fast becoming the most vibrant state with rapid industrialization and economic growth. The Directorate of Employment & Training, Government of Gujarat has been in the forefront of implementing various skill-building programmes with the aim of helping people to get jobs and this in-turn facilitates Industrial Development.
Introduction of ITI
- Industrial Training Institute, JUNAGADH (MAHILA) is located at the rural area. It is running under the control of "The Directorate of Employment and Training, Gandhinagar". There are numbers of medium and small size industrial units at JUNAGADH (MAHILA) Industrial Estate surrounding 20 Kms to 30 Kms away from JUNAGADH (MAHILA).
- In the year 2012 institute is started with the goal of providing the training to the people to make them the skilled worker. The institute is running in one shifts having 4 trades and a total intake capacity of 200 seats against which trainees are undergoing training in different trades.
Our Campus
- Institute is constructed in 3000 Sq. Mtrs area inclusive of Administrative Block, Workshop, Theory Class, PPP Revenue generation rooms, Staff Room etc.For the uplifting of the trainees there are many extra activities like rangoli competition, seminars like soft skill, MSME etc and sports activities are held at the institute.
Message By the Principal
- Industries and to provide employment to the youth. Keeping this goal in mind we impart training to the trainees in different trades as per the guidelines of Director General of Employment and Training -New Delhi.Domestic and global employment opporunities in various fields are increasing day by day which can be availed by the semi - skilled and multi - skilled trainees passing out from this Institute.
- Shri R.P.Bhatti As You know from the year 2015 our institute is taken a step forward for the upgradation of institute under "Public Private Partnership" Scheme. Lots of many new changes has to be happen in the upcoming years.While it is our endeavor to make our ITI a model for other institutions in the region, I would be happy to receive your valuable suggestions directly to make the development process more meaningful.
